3 Basic Nutrition Tips!

Today Gina brings us three basic nutrition tips from the the comfort of her room! These pointers are simply a few of many that she applies in both her clients and her own nutrition. There's a wealth of advice out there and it can often seem confusing or conflicting, so her aim today was to just simplify things by giving some straightforward yet effective tips to get anyone on the road to being more mindful about what they eat.

Gina goes into much more detail in the video but the the 3 tips are-

1- Keep a Food Diary.
Just for 3-7 days, not forever (unless you want to). This will give you a great overview of your diet in general and where you might be going wrong. It will also straightaway make you more mindful of the food you are putting in your mouth!

2- Eat More Protein!
A challenge in itself for some, but eating enough protein is key to fat loss or muscle building. A bonus is that most food choices high in protein are lower in carbs/sugars plus they make you feel fuller for longer.

3- Try intermittent Fasting.
Whether it be '"5:2" or "16/8", intermittent fasting has had a lot of press over the years and rightly so. The reported benefits include not only fat loss, but improvements in brain and heart health, reversal of type 2 diabetes, increased energy levels and many more.
