Learn to Handstand With Mike - Episode One

So you want to learn to handstand? Well you have come to the right place!

Over the following episodes, Mike will be showing and coaching you through the movement and strength prerequisites and build you up until you can perform a successful handstand.

Today's episode is all about the introductory movements to completing the handstand. Mike looks specifically at the wrist strength and mobility, as well as the shoulder extension and overhead positioning. These areas are often overlooked, but if you take your time to get these right.. you will most definitely speed the process up and not find yourself struggling as the exercises progress in difficulty!

The exercises that Mike shows you today can be built into your warm-up routine to ensure you stay on top of your wrist and shoulder health - both hugely important when wanting to get yourself holding a position upside down!

The Exercises:

Perform 3-5 Sets of:

- Wrist Pulses x 1 Min
- Floor Angels x 1 Min
- Downward Facing Dog x 1 Min
