Our Gym Rules.

We are passionate about creating a positive, supportive, inclusive, and safe environment where everyone can feel welcomed to chase their fitness goals.

As our membership base continues to evolve, being made up of people from across all walks of life and with all sorts of training interests, it’s easy to imagine how a diverse mix of people could get a little out of hand and have the gym descend into chaos. To maintain law and order, we have developed a set of easy-to-follow guidance for everyone inside U7 to follow.

Our gym rules are built upon a foundation of respect. Respect for staff, respect towards fellow gym members, and respect to anyone else that ventures inside U7.

Read these simple rules below and ensure that you do your part in continuing the incredible training environment and community that the members before you have built.

  1. Scan in.

Every member/guest must check-in to register their gym attendance. Failure to do so is a breach of our insurance, and health and safety policy.

  2. Respect Others.

Always treat all gym members and staff with respect.

  3. Hygiene.

Maintain good personal hygiene. Use deodorant and wear clean training kit.

  4. Dress Code.

Wear appropriate gym attire. This typically includes athletic shoes, shirts, and bottoms. Avoid clothing with offensive prints or messages. Only closed water bottles or sports drinks are allowed in the workout areas. Avoid bringing food or open containers into the gym.

  5. Clean Up After Yourself.

Wipe down machines and equipment after use.

  6. Tidy Your Weights Away After Use.

A timeless gym rule, but one that needs reminding. If everyone placed their equipment back where they found it, the gym would forever be tidy and organised. #goals

  7. Litter.

Just don’t do it. We have rubbish bins spread throughout the facility, please use them.

  8. Personal Space.

Respect the personal space of others. Keep a reasonable distance when someone is working out.

  9. Equipment Care.

Use the equipment as it is designed to be used. If you're unsure about how to use a piece of equipment, ask a staff member for assistance.

  10. Safety First.

Prioritize your safety and that of others. Don’t perform exercises beyond your capability. Use spotters for heavy lifts – ask your fellow members or grab a member of staff. If you notice broken equipment or any safety hazards, report them to the staff immediately.

*U7 reserve the right to enforce and amend these rules as they see fit. Failure to comply with these rules could result in you being removed from the premises, your membership being terminated, a temporary ban, or permanent ban from the facility.
