Pull Ups with Mike!

In this video, Mike takes you through some simple mobility and strength prerequisites to build you up to performing those elusive pull-ups! The first element to focus on is building a good range of motion before you load it with strength elements - MOBILITY (Control).

Shoulder preparation: The Cactus
- 3 sets of 1min
- 30 sec. rest in between sets

Once shoulders feel nice and warm, we can progress to strength elements - STRENGTH PREREQUISITES.

A. Lat pulldown: - 3 sets of 8-12 reps
- 1min rest between sets.

B. Scapula Rows: - 3 sets of 8-12 reps
- 1min rest between sets.

Remember:
- focus on movement quality
- control
- move slowly (mobility) explore your range
- listen to your body; this workout should be challenging but pain-free
- be patient, ask me if you are not sure about something.
