When you are sitting for hours, working on computers, looking at your phone, or even sleeping with less than adequate pillow support; you are often placing your neck in positions that ultimately lead to weakness, tightness and stiffness! The movements Mike shows you are known as Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs). The aim here is to take your joint through its full range of motion each day to improve overall mobility by regaining control and building strength at the end range of motion.
Remember to move slowly, explore your range, make it challenging, be patient but most importantly - listen to your body! Perform each exercise for 3 Sets of 60 Seconds.
